You Belong...

Hi Chic Crew! Welcome to my new website. If you are new to my blog, which most of you probably are, let me give you a little back story about how I got here. I put my blog on the back burner for a couple years. Just like anything else you are purposed to do I couldn't shake the urge to get it started again. My life experienced major transition last year so it delayed it even more. Then the pandemic happened, leaving no excuse for me to get started again. So here we are! I will get in more detail about my transitions later. Thanks for stopping by! Now let's get into the purpose of the post.

In 2020 I took in this saying that I heard in a yoga class that I took "TAKE UP SPACE", which for me means to be confident and go for what you want. It may mean something totally different to you, which is OK. I took to this saying like a moth to a flame. It just made so much sense to who I am as a person. I would say 99% of the time I like to play the

background. I really have to work hard at getting myself to do things that may push me forward. Although, when I get there I love the feeling which is so contradictory. Looking deeper into "TAKE UP SPACE" I realized that I must first recognize that "I BELONG". Before I show them what I got I have to be convinced that I belong in the space. If you are struggling with showing off your greatness I think its time you check your mindset. Come to grips with the fact that you BELONG in whatever space you are in. Once your mindset shifts you are giving yourself permission to "TAKE UP SPACE".
