The Complete surrender

Hey Y'all! Can I be honest out of the gate? Ok, cool! My faith over the many years has become a part of my identity. I chose to accept Christ long ago after church when I was about 6 years old. I asked my mother to lead me to Christ (for those that are not familiar, it's a confession prayer that acknowledges my belief in Jesus and his crucifix
ion for my sins) My journey of faith has not been perfect, but it has definitely been a guiding light that's burned brighter at times and in other seasons gone out.
More recently, like a couple weeks ago I decided to turn it up a notch and really surrender it all. I know it sounds intense, but let me explain. At this stage of my life I desire deeper connections in all my relationships, my relationship with God included. I also desire to be impactful, especially during this crazy time! I know that God has put certain gifts and talents in me that are needed. So I just surrendered it all to him y'all, done holding everything up on my own.

As I go on this journey I plan to share as much as I can in hopes that someone feels seen and not alone. The one scripture that I have been standing on for the past couple years is Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. It's a scripture that calms my worries and reminds me to keep the main thing the main thing. Let a sista know what some of your favorite scriptures are? Please stay connected, I would love to hear from you!
